27jun10:30 am12:00 pmDementia Action Alliance “Novel Approaches to Advance Dementia Research and Innovation” Session

Event Details

Historically, there have been limited opportunities for those on the Alzheimer’s & Dementia journey to be heard or provide collective feedback regarding “what matters most” to them from new therapies.  Today, a collective voice is needed to support regulatory decision-making, reimbursement, technology testing and other types of research.

Meryl Comer, President, Geoffrey Beene Foundation Alzheimer’s Initiative and 21-year caregiver will share novel ways that those living with the disease and their care partners can influence and impact the research agenda through a vibrant A-List online community.  Brett Hauber, Senior Economist / VP from RTI Health Solutions will discuss the latest initiative to link new qualitative and preference studies to inform the FDA.  Paula Garrett, Sr. Director, Marketing, Eli Lilly and Company will explain the novelty and importance of this approach to drug development. The audience will experience and engage in a What Matters survey, using new polling technology.
